An incoming storm... beautiful ain't it? =)
Hmm today was a sleepy day for me i guess. Was in class swearing my dear new classmates, namely WAILONG, YAUMING, and some others i guess. They kept irritating me so i had to. Well but i think i should shut up more. HAHA! too noisy i guess? Not that i just realised it, i know but i just wanted to keep the class on their toes and awake. So long as they're not bored, i'm fine with it. Well i shall TRY to keep my mouth shut for most of the time!
Was doing some dumb standard deviation and central limit theorem today. It was kinda boring for me since i only knew 1/2 of what i was supposed to understand. I'll try harder next time i guess.
And after school walked around the pasar malam beside CWP and then we went back.
In the train i came upon this guy reading the papers. I couldn't remember whether it was the newpaper or today or the other one (i dunno what's it called), but the headlines said, Nothing Comes for Free?
Actually, I think some things do come for free lah. You just have to know where to look! Haha…
It don't think it will take like a long time for some people to understand that nothing comes for free. That’s prolly cos their parents have taught them about it at an early stage.
In life, you basically pay for everything, but sometimes don’t you wonder, “What the hell did I do to deserve this??” Well I guess what goes around comes around! But, again, I wonder… When does the “good round” actually start?
Eh meaning if nothing is free, WOW! Our lives are that expensive. Ooo…
And some ads say that this is free, that is free, bla bla bla… BUT! Even when something says its free, there is always a catch! You people should have experienced it already.
Most of the time, you get what you pay for. If not in money, then time, emotions, self worth or some others. You will pay some way or another, often not of your own choosing.
But if some things ARE free, of course I will take it. Like the saying goes! The best things in life are free! =D
Like maybe say FRIENDSHIP! It’s free! But damn… you still have to work for it…
Well but at least AIR is free! Loving people is free! A smile is free! A friend’s advice is free! The sun is free! Sex is free! (other than those at geylang) The ocean and mountains are free! They’re all free! You just have to look for them!
There was this time when I was a little kiddy. I think when I was in K1 if I’m not mistaken. I couldn’t forget it cos I cried for the whole day. Why? Well I went to buy ice cream at the ice cream van that usually comes at noon at the car park. And I couldn’t believe I LOST my money. GOSH! Then when the ice cream man asked me to pay for it, I asked if I could get it for free… and the guy told me, “Ah boy, don’t prey prey ah… you think everything free ah? Go home ask your mother money!” I went home and told my mom, and then I got a beating cos I lost the money. Now how DUMB was that?? Well that just goes to show that nothing in life is free.
Well sadly, let’s just put it this way. Everything in life comes with a price tag attached to it!
